WATERPROOFER FLEX
Characteristics – Application
Special two- component flexible cement based brushable waterproofing mortar. Constists of the component A dry mortar (25kg bag) and the component B liquid resin ( container 9kg). Ideal for waterproofing areas of concrete, bricks, plaster, basements, water reservoirs, tunnels, foundations and canals for old and new structures and especially for surfaces that already exist or are going to create capillary cracks. It is recommended for extra waterproofing before tile installation.
Use
It is used for the sealing of old and new surfaces on walls and floors, indoors and outdoors and on various substarates with possitive and negative pressures, such as concrete, bricks, plasters, cement boards, stones, tunnels, biological treatment plants, canals, wells, swimming pools, terraces, bathrooms, as an apreventive waterproofing under the tile lining or other final coatings. Suitable for use on surfaces that come in to contact with food and drinking water.
Directions of uses
Mix WATER PROOFER mortar 25Kg (component A) with the WATER PROOFER FLEX resin 9kg (component B) until a homogeneous mixture is formed with a low revolution mixer. Leave the mixture to settle for 5 min and then stir it again. The substrate to be coated must be free of dust, paint, oil, loose material etc ,capable of carrying the additional load. The substrate can be concrete, brick, plasterboard, stone, marble etc. It should be properly prepared and levelled. For best result it is recommended to wet the surface before the application. In special applications it is recommended the use of Primer & Mortar Enhancer TECHNOFLEX.
The application should be done in two layers. The second layer should take place 24 hours after the first one, by using a thick brush.
ATTENTION Application temperature between +5 – + 35 C˚.
Consumption
Τwo layers of coating will be required 2.0-2.5 kg/m² depending on the texture and absorbency of the surface.
