STORISMENOS BROS S.A company pioneering in manufacturing new products has moved forward in producing concrete tiles using cool materials. These materials are certified through laboratory test under International Standards ASTM E903-96 and ASTM G159-98
Cool materials are those characterizes by:
1) High reflectivity to solar radiation (spectrum 300-2500mm).
Reflectivity is the ability of a surface to divert the solar radiation, that includes radiation to the visible spectrum as well as infared and ultra violent radiation
2) High factor of infrared radiation emission.
The emission factor is a parameter that determines the ability of a material to discard amounts of heat under the form of infared radiation.
