SPECIAL CEMENT BASED WATERPROOFING MORTAR

Description
Special one-component cement based waterproofing mortar. Ideal for waterproofing concrete, produced under standard modern industrial conditions with quarry aggregates of special granulometry of high clarity, with special polymer resin admixtures of the highest quality of the latest technology of the largest European companies that offers it several advantages such as: excellent workability, strong adhesion to the substrate, resistance to deformation and vibration, ability to fix cracks, complete waterproofing and permeability. It is classified according to the European Standard EN 1504-2 as a surface protection product.
Use
It is used for the sealing of old and new surfaces on walls and floors, indoors and outdoors and on various substrates with positive and negative pressures, such as concrete, bricks, plasters, cement mortars, aerated concrete, cement boards, bricks, stones, tunnels, biological treatment plants, canals, wells, swimming pools, terraces, bathrooms as apreventive waterproofing under the tile lining, or other final coatings. Suitable for use on surfaces that come in contact with food and drinking water.
Application (Substate)
The substrate must be free of dust, oil, mold, loose materials and capable to carry the additional weight. In particular, surfaces made of framework are thoroughly leveled without cuts or sharp protrusions, any iron that protrude from the structure should be cut to a depth of 2cm and the gaps should be repaired with appropriate mortar.
Application (Material)
Mix WATER PROOFER with clean water (7.5-8.0liters per 25Kg) in a container with a low revolution mixer for at least two minutes until a homogeneous viscous mixture is created. Allow the mixture to stand for a few minutes to mature and stir again for a while so it is ready for use. Absordent substates must be wetted without stangnat water or if the conditions do not allows it, to be primed with TECHNOFLEX acrylic primer to minimize their absorbency to prevent premature dehydration of the material. The material is applied with a priming brush or a roller or spatula, depending on the surface in at least two cross-sections and after the first layer is dry.If required the application can be applied in three layers(e.g. pressurized water) by reinforced fiberglass in the first layer. The working life is about an hour at a temperature of 20°C, during this time, the material stirred if needed periodically without the addition of water. The application should be done at ambient and substrate temperature from + 5°C to +35°C. At the end of the application the material should be protected for at least 24 hours from possible rain, frost or intense direct sunlight. Consumption
2.5-3.5kg / m² depending on the requirements of the application (two or three layers)
Storage
Keep in a room with low humidity and store on pallets up to one year from the date of production and always in sealed package.
