Description
Flexible, resinous, fast setting, cement based, tile adhesive, with excellent gripping ability of high performance. It is produced under standard modern industrial conditions with quarry aggregates of special granulometry of high clarity. It contains special polymer resinous mixed additives of highest quality and technology of the most approved European manufacturers, which offer accordingly many advantages such as: Powerful initial and final bonding and durability to extreme temperature conditions and stresses. It has fast setting properties (F), zero slip (T) open application time (E), high flexibility (S2) and strength against deformations and vibrations. It is classified as type C2 F ΤΕ S2 tile adhesive according to EN 12004 and 12002 standard.
Fields of application
Suitable for fixing every type of tiles, marbles, natural granites and decorative stones, absorbent or non –absorbent tiles, floors and walls, indoors and outdoors and various substrates with application thickness up to 15mm. Ideal for applications requiring fast use of space, such as renovations of professional spaces such as super markets, hotels, industrial workshops etc. Ideal for extra large size tiles in high-demand areas such as vibration floors, underfloor heating, plasterboards, swimming pools, terraces, industrial areas of high stress, crowded spaces, etc. RAPID FLEX is ready for grouting in 3 hours
Application
The surface to be covered should be free of any dust, paint, loose material, oils etc capable to carry the additional weight. On flimsy substrates or substrates of high absorbance it is recommended to apply the SYSTEM TECHNICA TECHNOFLEX product, 1-2 hours prior to the application of the adhesive. . For best result it is recommended to wet the surface before the application. The content of the bag is mixed in a ratio of 25kg of adhesive with 7,25lt of clean water (± 0.25 lit) until a homogeneous mixture is formed. The mixture should be left for about 5-7 minutes to settle, before it is slightly stirred again with a low revolution mixer. The mixture is ready to use within 5 minutes after stirring and its coagulation time is approximately 90 min depending on temperature. During this time, the mixture is mixed periodically, but no further water is added. Coating the adhesive on the surface is uniformly applied by means of a suitable notched trowel. The mixture that is applied must be covered with tiles within 30 minutes. Especially for non absorbent extra large size tiles ( 60 x 60 or over). It is recommended that the application of the adhesive, in addition to the substrate, should also be done evenly with a regular spatula at the back side of the tile giving the thickness of 1mm. In that manner and also using special levellers we can achieve an easy application and secure permanent bonding. Application temperature is between 5° C and 35 ° C

Storage
Keep in a room with low humidity and store on pallets up to one year from the date of production and always in sealed package.
